Diet of Worms on (Melted) Ice

A swimming pool may seem an unlikely venue for a comedy act. But then again, Diet of Worms on (Melted) Ice is no normal comedy. The talented band of Irish comedians behind this show present a host of crazy characters and scenarios, delivering their own interpretation of popular culture whilst waist high in water.

At times the cast are reminiscent of a young (and mixed gender) Monty Python ensemble. Their surreal and satirical outlook on issues such as contraception and murder elicits simultaneous gasps and sniggers from the audience.

However, the performance lacks finesse in the acting and the delivery of some jokes, giving the show the aura of an amateur production.
