It's nearly that time again! Yes, the 2025 edition of the Edinburgh Fringe kicks off next week, with previews from Mon 28 Jul before the Fringe officially begins on Fri 1 Aug. With thousands of shows in the programme, taking place at hundreds of venues across the city, it's a lot to get your head around – so we'll be keeping all of our four- and five-star comedy reviews on this page to give you a headstart on finding your favourite shows.

Of course, as we write this, the 2025 Fringe hasn't actually started yet – for now, feast your eyes on some of the interviews and previews from our August issue, out from Mon 28 Jul at venues across Scotland.
