There is free booze at this show. Quite a bit of it. But we must remain objective and focus on the material as presented by Ben McFarland & Tom Sandham, drinks critics who are trying their hand at performing for the first… oh, a beer? Yeah, just the one then.

McFarland & Sandham have obviously researched the show well, with an interesting cultural history of alcohol. There are quotes from Nietzche and De Quincy, plus a look at how booze influenced Hemmingway, Picasso and… vodka? At this hour? Well, if it's part of the show...

Where was I? Show. Yes. It's really entertaining. Few daft sketches thrown in and… what's his name.. the beardy one… pretends to be a bison in one bit. Good laugh. No, no way am I doing tequila. Really posh tequila? Okay then… oh, that's actually delicious. Wow, the free booze is expensive, no cheap shite here. And now absinthe. Fuuuuuuck.

There's a seriage messous about how we should drink less, but drink bitter. Better. Whatever, it's a good message. And it's well funny throughout. Yeah, some jokes are a bit Top Gear-ey and there's the usual stuff about Scotland and Buckfast. Who d'ya think you are, coming up here, ya English bast- rum! I love rum!

This is brilliant. I love this show. It's my best mate.
