With the festive season almost upon us we can often get lost amongst all the A/W’13 fashion bursting onto the high street. Well, House of Fraser have decided to make life a little bit easier for us all with their House of Fraser Presents pop-up shop. The Glasgow store has introduced three of Scotland’s most talented home-grown designers to fashion-hungry shoppers this winter. The trio of designers on show are Joanne McGillivray, Rebecca Torres and Saunt & Sinner. All three have been nominated for the prestigious Scottish Fashion Awards and they truly are the future of Scottish fashion.

With celebrity fans such as Millie Mackintosh and coverage in some of the UKs leading fashion glossies, you can be sure to find something truly on-trend from Joanne McGillivray, who launched her own luxury womenswear line after successfully collaborating with Marks & Spencer in 2013. Keep an eye out for her Burgundy leather pleated skirt and the same stand out print woven throughout the entire collection.

Rebecca Torres specialises in creating garments from luxe sports fabrics and is renowned for her use of shape and colour in her designs. Her debut collection was a sell out on ASOS and with coverage from the likes of Vogue she has been labelled “one to watch” by the fashion elite. Expect to find a collection of bold, statement pieces that will leave you spoilt for choice (and looking great at all those Christmas parties)!

Last, but not at all least, Saunt & Sinner bring some truly organic Scottish fashion to the pop-up shop. The label, who comprise of Emma Noble and Toni Roddie, often try to source fabrics from Scottish suppliers and their collection consists of beautifully simple yet elegant pieces. With the bold colour palette and eye-catching, kaleidoscopic prints, Saunt & Sinner offer garments that would easily become the buy-now-but-keep-forever item in any wardrobe.

The designers will each have a two week stint in the store in the run up to Christmas and will provide shoppers with a unique opportunity to purchase some truly one-of-a-kind pieces this season.
