Why not get involved in a guilt-free clothes swap to satisfy the need for a fashion fix? Now a major trend sweeping the nation, clothes swapping or swishing parties give you the perfect excuse to get together with friends, bag a new wardrobe, be kind to your wallet and be ethically aware.

Zest Lifestyle Management have organised their first Ditch and Switch party, which is to take place in the guilded grandeur of the Voodoo Rooms on Thursday 25 March at 7pm. For just £10, you can enjoy champagne, cupcakes and expert advice from an image consultant and make-up artist who will be on hand to help to create a whole look with your new found pieces.

To be included in the party all you need to do is take along a minimum of five items; clothing, shoes or accessories. You will then be given a token for the amount of items brought, the last step is to choose what you want to take home with you. Easy.

Clothes swaps are a great way to give unwanted items hidden at the bottom of the wardrobe a new lease of life. Remember, one girls trash is another girls treasure.

Any garments that are left at the end of the night will be donated to charity.
