Trickski - Members of the Trick

Trickski (Yannick Labbe and Daniel Becker) have put together a compilation CD from their fabulously successful 12" series for Sonar Kollectiv, showcasing the finest acts to appear so far on the singles. Featuring exclusive tracks from some of the best up-and-coming acts around, this diverse collection is sure to have something for everyone. Standouts include Schmutzig de Mutzig's upbeat techno tune Thank You Daniel - a stomping, throbbing electronic masterpiece. Trickski make a few appearances on the album, most notably on Move Me, featuring brooding vocals from Yannick himself, live drums and deliberate, funky beats very much reminiscent of LCD Soundsystem. Paperbitch is another storming track from the duo. This is a fantastic compilation, full of fresh new talent and original sounds, and exactly what is needed to shake things up on the current scene.
