Steve Angello - Sizeism

Fresh from some of the highest profile remixes of the year, Steve Angello takes us on a journey through some of his favourite tunes. He gives us 37 tracks of his favourite DJ food over two platters and it's some pretty glamourous stuff, including Lustral's glittering synths and rhythms. Mr. Fragogiannis (Angello's name on the birth certificate) shares some of his own tunes and remixes, but it's not where the mix excels. Tracks like Robyn and Kleerup's With Every Heartbeat slow the mix down with a predictable dance-enhanced version of a song that was never that strong in the first place. The word is that Angello is moving towards a fusion of hip-hop and techno for his upcoming solo album, and it makes sense given his tune choices.[James Blake]
