Sincere- So Sincere

Don't get it twisted, no one is going to win any awards for this movie or mixtape, however, it will give you a taste of British street music

Album title: So Sincere
Artist: Sincere
Label: Young Entrepreneur
It all reads well for North London's Sincere, with his So Sincere Mixtape CD and DVD double pack. The So Sincere mini movie is written by Sincere and directed by Ben Peters, and acts as a ten song videography featuring cameos from some of the UK's best MCs; Bashy, Wretch 32, SAS and Scorcher. Sincere aka Sin delivers a gritty mixtape detailing the lifestyle of a rising MC. As is the case with many UK mixtapes, this one lacks top notch production and at times misses altogether as is the case with Rockstar and Myspace. When Sincere is on point, he delivers some phenomenal music. Repping UK, That's Not Gangsta and the infectious One Day You'll See, demonstrate his unlimited potential. The vision of the So Sincere mixtape becomes prevalent after viewing the mini movie. As the leading character in the film, Sincere attempts to give viewers a slice of his experience at music hustling in London whilst travelling to late night studio sessions with the odd thuggish anecdotes to 'keep it real.' Don't get it twisted, no one is going to win any awards for this movie or mixtape, however, it will give you a taste of British street music. [Omar Jenning]
