Robyn with Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat

Some people may dig it but this reviewer certainly does not. 'Pop sensation' Robyn graces our shores with the release of her new single, With Every Heartbeat; the chorus, "and it hurts with ev-e-ry heart-beat" is enough to make you want to throw a small cat at someone, not that we here at the Skinny condone cat violence of any kind, even in such circumstances. It's just too sickly sweet and uber-cheesy. Despite its popularity it's hardly the euphoric and heartfelt track it's aiming to be. Trance pop for the aficionados, at its best. [Natalie Doyle]
