Special Ed flexing a particularly fat feast of tunes

Article by Jonny Ogg | 11 Apr 2007
Ahead of a flat-out tour reaching all corners of the globe, Moving Fusion touches down at Edinburgh's Sequential for a night of Ram Records mayhem. The unfortunately low numbers don't spoil the fresh party-time vibe that exists at Sequential, and a slick set from resident Weak Hunt opens the night. In turn, Slowmotion Ninja and Pangea's Special Ed keep the beats running with Ed flexing a particularly fat feast of tunes. Headliner Moving Fusion easily proves why he's been smashing through the d&b scene since 1998. His set of free flowing beats errs on the darker side of Jump Up, including a remix of Andy C's Body Rock amongst his bag of delights. Some hot-off-the-press dubs end the night with the only downside being the denial of a last tune reload by the security despite pleas from the ragga tipped MCs AJ and Pressure. Well, maybe next time Sequential! [Jonny Ogg]
