Mattafix are London-based duo Marlon Roudette and Preetesh Hirji who aim to make positive music for the 21st century. Latest single Living Darfur was created with the help of several celebrities, including Mick Jagger, Desmond Tutu and George Clooney, in order to raise awareness of the current desperate situation in Darfur. The objective of the single is to highlight the need for an immediate ceasefire. The vocals on the track are moving and sung with great passion, infused with tribal beats and a dance background. Crisis Action even flew Mattafix to Chad for the occasion, where they encountered the spirit and determination of the people. Let's hope Mattafix achieve all they set out to do with this record.
