London Electricity proves his worth with some fast and highly animated mixing

People forget sometimes that music is meant to be fun. Refreshingly, tonight's DJs, through their obvious enthusiasm, and at points, off the wall tune selection, lead the crowd in a free flow of beats and bass. Notably, Paul Reset and E.N.O, in a back to back showdown, even manage to slip in The Prodigy's Every Body In The Place, before the handover to Hospital Records head honcho London Electricity (a.k.a Tony Colman). Despite a few sound glitches, London Electricity proves his worth with some fast and highly animated mixing. Over two hours he manages to clock up classics like Logistics Together, as well as flexing some of Hospital's latest signings, such as Avalon by Blame and Electrosound by Sonic; tracks which certainly have a harder edge when played through a club soundsystem. For anyone who missed it, London Electricity is a must see, and Xplicit continues to be a driving force in the Scottish scene. [Jonny Ogg]
