Ok, so you're having a party with 50 of your mates in a pub in town. Which superstar Drum and Bass DJ do we invite this time you ask yourself? Well, if DJ Marky was the answer, you must have been in Po Na Na with the rest of the select, well-informed crowd who were there. A party vibe it certainly was, but with a remarkably low turnout to see a man who is undeniably one of the most vibrant and stylish DJs on the circuit. A trickle of bodies entered the club before 1am to warm-up sets from Marc E.P, and the lickable flavours of Codenine. Then the place went off and Marky radiated waves of everything from Sao Paulo rhythms to heavy rolling beats bubbling joyfully. This was certainly a rare opportunity to be part of an intimate bar session with one of D&B's biggest names. [Jonny Ogg]
