Kicking against the darker evolutions of dancehall and returning to streamlined pop-reggae, Devon Pennant releases a rather simplistic cover of Bill Lovelady's Reggae For It Now. There's absolutely nothing new here, and the only use for Pennant seems to be as filler on 'The ultimate greatest summer beach party mix-tape in the world ever' - a CD for blond teens to listen to in open-top cars on their way to the woods. Where Virus Syndicate will hopefully hack them to death in their sleep. [Liam Arnold]
