D Ramirez/Anton Neumark - Satisfaction Generation

In a word, pumping.

In a word, pumping. There's little more to say than that, except that it comes with a Minimal Mix and a Dirty Mix, which are... well, you can figure it out. Prime Death Disco stuff, Ramirez and Neumark make tunes that are melodic, kicking and sleazier than an Italian waiter. The vocal hook's pretty irritating on the original, trying to be Trentemöller's Always Something Better, but sounding out of breath instead of edgy; flat where it should be soulful. That said, the Dirty Mix comes with bass so thick and heavy it needs a 200lb fish hook instead of a Stanton stylus. We're gonna need a bigger boat. [Liam Arnold]
