All the polish you'd expect from a big corporate event is in full effect, right down to the maraca in your Cuba Libre and the models drafted in to serve from trays. The free drinks definitely go some way to making the event a party, and there are enough folks there from the dance classes of the city to make sure the floor is moving throughout. Triangulo Escuro seem to go down well with the massed revelers, but it's hard to escape the thought that they might not be able to hold their own in another setting. Proficient musicians, sure, but nothing to get too excited about. As it is, everyone's going home happy, with a hairy hangover on the horizon.
