Death Disco - Justin time to make the night

The excellent Justin Robertson makes a mediocre Death Disco come up trumps in the end.

Death Disco's line up for this night promised the usual resplendent crowd with much quality electro from the likes of Justin Robertson and Jo Jo De Freq. The queue outside is full of what seems like a younger Death Disco crowd, as the so called nu-rave scene seems to have found a part time residence in this monthly club alongside the wonderfully varied mix of dress ups and dress downs that normally fill this event.

The nights starts with resident DJ Mingo-go warming up in her mix free yet intriguing way, while The Manhattan Project do the same in the main arch. Despite Death Disco's progressive music policy The Manhattan Project seem to be too keen to anthem bash, with an inconsistent set of tunes and poor mixing. Justin Robertson appears on the decks around one thankfully and produces a typically brilliant set, keeping the place jumping till the end and finishing with the superb Trentmoller mix of 'Go'.
