The peerless Optimo celebrates its eleventh birthday by doing what it does best, ensuring everyone is out on a school night when really they should be at home laying out their freshly ironed shirt for Monday morning. For those of us who haven't chosen an early night and a cup o' tea it’s business as usual down the Sub Club: a playlist that is the definition of eclectic means you can probably expect to hear some of the better known tracks from the past eleven years tonight. No special guests have been announced but when you can work a crowd like Twitch and Wilkes they aren’t really necessary. Logic says that quality like this can’t last forever, and they considered making last year's birthday the final one.
