April's Death Disco promises to be an excellent night with another suitably stellar line-up

Article by Gill Tasker | 11 Apr 2007
Death Disco is a night that has steadily been going from strength to strength, with more of Glasgow's clued-up clubbers getting down to the Arches for some great music and great fun. The Death Disco crowd is an eclectic mix of "the straight, gay and not-sure-yets", and is a night where individualism reigns superior over the boringly bland, with many fashionistas grabbing the opportunity to dress up, to drink, and most importantly, to dance. April's Death Disco promises to be an excellent night with another suitably stellar line-up. The uber-cool Ed Banger Records' resident hot chick Uffie and DJ Feadz bring their live electro beats and fearless lyrical proclamations ("I'm ready to fuck!") and are sure to get the revelers raving. London outfit Freeform Five are also playing, as are the Record Players resident DJs, and regular vixen on the Death Disco decks, DJ Mingo-go. Glasgow's Shit Disco complete the line-up with their shouty and danceable disco-punk. Don't miss it! [Gill Tasker]
