Cursor Miner @ Substance, Henry's Cellar Bar, Edinburgh, 26 Sept

Article by Alex Burden | 18 Aug 2008

The madcap maestro of performance dressage, Cursor Miner (Lo Recordings / Noodles), is better known for sensational European electro, slicing in elements of techno, breaks, rave, and pop. Whether it's for the foot-tapping four/four over distorted electronic screeches or teeth jarring shuffle beats and distended vocals, the booking of Cursor Minor is a coup in the name of just damn good taste. Check out his World of Noise track on the MySpace for a 'blue triangle' glimpse into his psyche. Fancy & Spook (MNX Recordings) support with a live PA kicking out Detroit electro flavours riding on a lo-fi analogue wave with Substance's Gavin Richardson kicking off proceedings.

11pm-3am, £6/£7
