Watch: Mogwai live at the CCA, as they storm UK album chart
Mogwai's Rave Tapes, their 8th studio album, has entered the UK album charts at number ten, a first for the veteran band after almost 20 years of being. Released through their own Rock Action label, Rave Tapes is their fastest-selling LP to date. They also performed an encore, featuring the classic track Helicon 1, taken from the band's debut, 1997's Ten Rapid.
Speaking exclusively to The Skinny for a forthcoming feature, Mogwai's Barry Burns describes preparing his contributions for Rave Tapes' sessions in a Berlin studio.
