Off the Beaten Tracks is a music video project in unusual surroundings. The Skinny and Off the Beaten Tracks have teamed up to bring you music videos from artists in even more unusual surroundings. In this particular series we're talking the smallest tent at T in the Park.

T In The Park 2009 #1 Mike Nisbet.

Mike Nisbet, the Oban-born and now Glasgow-based singer-songwriter was the first one to step into the backstage T Tent at 2009's T In The Park bash and belt out a couple of acoustic sessions for us.

In fairness to Mike, a tent designed like a Balado country kitchen (except with a working Tennent's tap, nice) under glaring sunshine isn't exactly the natural habitat for his throaty and bourbon-fancying songs of barflies and loss. Still, he gamely managed to not burst into flames, and delivered us rich and warming renditions of Coffee And Cigarettes and Song For Power to boot.
