Seven Days Of Idlewild, our week-long acoustic takeover with the Edinburgh-formed outfit, concludes with a brand new track from their seventh LP Everything Ever Written, which is released today (16 February) and reviewed here.
"We took this very slowly," says Roddy Woomble of its secret genesis. "Having no record label, we could just develop it at the pace we wanted to. I think that's why this record is the most diverse we've done. We just took our time and didn't add anything we didn't want to. We don't feel like we're trying to impress anyone."
