Feature by News Team | 13 Dec 2013

Detour Scotland, the organisation co-run by Radio 1 BBC Introducing DJ Ally McCrae and David Weaver, and promising "live events, videos, adventures and music" embarked on their Glasgow-based Winter Wee Jaunt last week, arranging pop-up gigs throughout the city with some well-kent faces from the Scottish music scene.

There was a bespoke gig in Kelvingrove Park with Pronto Mama (see below), a back-street cypher with Glasgow hip-hop supergroup Toy Control (see our post about that from earlier this week), and bespoke performances from Rick Redbeard (see below), Baby Strange, Emma Pollock and the Cairn String Quartet (see below), CARBs, DEMS, Prides (whose new track features exclusively on the video above), and an exclusive DJ set from Young Fathers.

Videos of these one-off gigs will be going up on the Detour Scotland YouTube page over the coming week - we'll keep you posted as they arrive.
