Film gets a whole new style in the new edition of the Fashion in Film Festival, showing across Scotland. Elsewhere, Andy Goldsworthy's exhibition continues at RSA and Brìghde Chaimbeul plays Oran Mor
Fashion meets film in the Fashion in Film Festival, a BFI-backed programme of touring films visiting venues across Scotland from 21 Sep-18 Oct. This year's edition takes as its theme 'GROUNDED', exploring fashion's ongoing entanglements with the natural world.
Highlights from the programme include experimental filmmaker Jodie Mack’s The Grand Bizarre (pictured), her first feature-length film comprised of stop-motion, collage and abstract animation; The Toll of the Sea presented alongside a live score; and Dust to Dust, a documentary exploring Nairobi’s Gikomba Market, the world’s largest hub for discarded clothes.
