Who doesn't love physical media? Apart from the weird tech overlords, and who likes them anyway? To mark the 19th annual Record Store Day – a countrywide celebration of records, the bands that make them, and the shops that sell them – this Saturday 18th April, Scotland's record stores are turning out with a stunning programme of events.

Our lovely music editor Tallah has rounded up all participating shops and their gigs, club nights and extra special releases here, making my job a whole lot easier, but some highlights! Acolyte (pictured), Isa Gordon and more play The False Widow for Good Vibes, followed by an afterparty at Leith Cricket Club. DJs Sci-Fi Steven (bis), Isobel McKenna, Mao Mao and 2-4-1 spin records at Some Great Reward. And there are all-vinyl DJ sets from DJ Jon Jon, Mark Wallace, Fritz (Tunage) and Egang at Le Freak Records in Dundee. Check out the full roundup here.
