Join Glasgow Youth Film Festival for their sweet sixteenth birthday, with a gorgeous programme of films over the long weekend, running 13-15 September. The festival is co-programmed by a group of Young Programmers aged 15-18 who are mentored through a summer school by the GFT team.

This year's programme includes the usual mix of iconic classics and little seen rep screenings and brand new releases, from the likes of board game adaptation Clue and 70s musical Grease to Elijah Wood-led comedy Bookworm and the UK premiere of German coming-of-age tale Skatergirls. All tickets are £6, and there are free workshops for young people interested in working in the film industry: find the full programme here.
