The weather might be a bit... changeable... but it does seem as though we might be turning a corner re: this whole pandemic. Hospitality has reopened for the first time since December, the galleries and museums are slowly letting us back inside, and things seem to be tentatively reopening left and right. 

It's in this spirit we present our May issue. Inside you'll find chats with The Rhumba Club and Sub Club on V&A Dundee's new clubbing exhibition (now open), a whirl round some of our favourite indy cinemas ahead of their reopening later in the month (fingers crossed), and listings of the month's best art exhibitions (pre-book everything).

There's also an in-depth discussion of workers' rights in the art and culture sectors, a longread on Scottish South East and East Asian artists and their creative process during the pandemic, and a look at the world of homebrewing and whether it can offer a route into the beer world for people from outside the usual (cough, white lads, cough cough) demographics. There's a lot more besides, so grab a copy when you see one.
