Nightvision Hogmanay with Alan Fitzpatrick & Patrick Topping @ The Liquid Room, Edinburgh

The Edinburgh promotion giants have been putting on Hogmanay bashes for as long as we can remember, and we’re pretty sure they always sell out, so we’re telling you this up front: their first four ticket tiers have already sold out so there really isn’t much time left to dwell on it. Across Liquid Room’s two rooms they’ve got a massive line-up featuring Alan Fitzpatrick, Stephen Brown and Patrick Topping, whose track Turbo Time was recently nominated for Radio 1’s Hottest Record of the Year. If you’re not in Edinburgh, Topping also plays two Scottish New Year’s Day parties at Mono, Dundee and Unit 51, Aberdeen. 10:30pm-5am (last entry 3am); tickets from £39.95 + BF

Nightvision Hogmanay with Alan Fitzpatrick @ The Ice Factory, Perth

Following their successful September launch in Perth, with a massive sold out Green Velvet party, Nightvision return to The Ice Factory this Hogmanay for round two, which takes their 2019 New Year’s Eve party tally up to two. It means that techno giant Alan Fitzpatrick is also doing the double as he’ll be playing this one as well as their Edinburgh gathering. Joining Fitzpatrick in Perth will be local lads Clouds, Ronnie Spiteri, Frazi.er, Alan Dobson, Groovement and Dundee’s Le Freak and friends. A trip to Perth this NYE could be just the ticket. 9pm-3am; tickets from £24.50 + BF

Cafe Mambo Ibiza Hogmanay Special @ The Social, Glasgow

Glasgow might not have the sun, sea and sand of Ibiza, but if you head along to city centre hotspot The Social this New Year’s Eve, you’re guaranteed to experience the famous party vibes the Balearic island is famed for. The Social and The Shimmy Club have teamed up with Ibiza’s famous Cafe Mambo to bring two of its residents – Danny O and Ryan McDermott – over for the festivities. What’s more, you can live that VIP lifestyle for the night by booking a booth which includes a bottle of Moët & Chandon. Fancy. 8pm-4am; tickets £20 + BF

El Dorado NYE @ Why Not, Edinburgh

Famous for their New Year’s Eve decor, this year George Street’s Why Not are going for gold as they invite you into their depths to “discover the lost city of El Dorado,” to a soundtrack of R’n’B, hip-hop and club classics. Much like the venue will be dripping in gold tonight, so have they invited you to embrace a similar theme with their Go For Gold dress code. A few ideas we can offer would be to go as Goldmember, C-3PO or McDonald’s famous golden arches, which would be fitting as, believe it or not, you can have a McDonald’s delivered to your VIP table tonight. We shit you not. 9pm-5am (last entry 1am); tickets from £12 + BF

GBX Anthems @ O2 Academy, Glasgow; City Night Club, Falkirk

Clyde 1 DJ George Bowie (Bowie in the Morning; GBXperience) is celebrating 25 years of his GBX Anthems parties and weekend warm-up radio show by stepping into a new decade with not only one massive party, but two, as he’s set to take over Glasgow’s O2 Academy and Falkirk’s City Night Club this Hogmanay. Of course, that wouldn’t all be possible for just one man for he his but a mere mortal, so to accompany his huge ambition he’s pulled together a huge line-up featuring Q-Tex, Chill FM, Ultrabeat, Scott Brown and Dream Frequency among others. Glasgow: 8pm-3am, tickets from £30 + BF; Falkirk: 10pm-4am, tickets from £15 + BF

If Afrobeat, dancehall, soca, Baile and Latin bass music is more your thing then be sure to get yourself along to Edinburgh’s La Belle Angele for Samedia Shebeen’s Hogmanay Fiesta: Tropical Soundclash. For their first ever New Year’s Eve party Samedia Shebeen DJs will be going up against the Strawberry Jam Sound System, who will be bringing along their full rig sound system which they claim provides “bass quakes to give soundboys bellyaches.” As well as this there will be live West African percussion throughout the night from Sankofa Beats with special guests to be confirmed. 11pm-5am; tickets from £10 advance + BF
