Heritage Open Days

England's biggest festival of history and culture, Heritage Open Days (8-11 Sep) gives you the chance to explore hidden gems and new experiences for free, with everything from the 110th birthday of Manchester's favourite Victorian baths and tours of the Grade I listed Bluecoat Arts Centre to a Hebden Bridge Picture House open morning and a canal boat ride exploring Castleton Mill's heritage in Leeds. Nab yourself some lovely art at a lovely price as A Print Fair Called Skint Fair takes over The Brunswick, as part of the venue's 1st birthday celebrations. Leeds International Beer Festival

The fifth annual Leeds International Beer Festival takes care of your boozy yearnings this week. The Loveless
Liverpool Small Cinema, Liverpool. Wed 14 Sep, 6.30pm
We're teaming up with Liverpool Small Cinema for a screening of the first feature film by Kathryn Bigelow, who's known for more recent blockbusters like The Hurt Locker and Zero-Dark Thirty. Our film team will be introducing the film, and there'll also be time beforehand for drinks and 50s tunes.
Pick of the Fringe
The Dancehouse, Manchester. Fri 16 Sep, 7.15pm
