Tennents line up James Murphy, No Age and many more to warm up 'Season One'

Making good on their promise for the integration of beer, democracy and music, Tennent's Mutual announced today a trio of warm up gigs set for the months of September and October.

Headlining two dates - one at the Glasgow CCA on Sat, 20 Sep and another the following day at The Caves in Edinburgh - will be a DJ set from notorious north american scum James Murphy. Fans of Murphy and his full-time gig LCD Soundsystem are encouraged to visit the Tennent's Mutual website to vote on prices for the shows, which will feature support from Frightened Rabbit, Findo Gask, Isoceles and Kid Canaveral, as well as guest spinning from Belle & Sebastian DJs.

Details on gigs for the Tennent's Mutual: Season One programme have yet to be released, but another warm-up show has been announced simultaneously with the Murphy DJ set. The loud and raucous Times New Viking and No Age will cross the pond to team up with Cardiff popsters Los Campesinos! for a performance on Sat, 18 Oct at the Glasgow School of Art.

More announcements for the first round of gigs are expected to follow in the coming weeks while interested concert-goers can sign up and have their say on ticket prices here.
