T Break 2009 Line Up Announced

Once again providing Scotland’s most promising unsigned acts with a rather priceless platform, this year's T Break Stage at T in the Park will be inviting festival-goers to take a nosey at the young hopefuls treading in the footsteps of everyone from Attic Lights to Zoey Van Goey.

These 16 acts - cherry-picked from over 1400 entries to play between 10-12 July - will include the sunny tunes of Glenrothes’ Tango in the Attic, the melancholic Britpop tinged anthems of My Cousin I Bid You Farewell, The French Quarter’s whimsical take on post-rock, some messed-up cabaret from Punch & The Apostles, the somewhat unfortunately named Ming Ming & The Ching Chings, Dead Boy Robotics’ distinct brand of electro-artiness and Guillemots tour mates Brother Louis Collective.

Rounding out the line up are Little Eskimos, Mike Nisbet, Barn Owl, We Are Trapped in Kansas, G1FT, Maple Leaves, Gong Fei, Homework and Glasgow-based brutalists Bronto Skylift. It's a fine crash course on where Scottish music is at in 2009.
