This November will mark the launch of Homecoming Live- The Final Fling at Glasgow’s SECC. The event, beginning on the 27th will celebrate Scotland’s vibrant musical contribution during the St Andrew’s Day weekend in a unique coming together of the country’s artists. As well as the wide diversity of music that will be on offer, guests are invited to indulge in the best of Scottish cuisine to add to the festive spirit!

The range of musical styles present will ensure everyone’s enjoyment, with reunited progenitors of twee The Vaselines as well as Fence Records guru King Creosote in attendance. Dundee’s indie rock contingent is represented by The Law, featuring alongside Idlewild, whose melodic sounds echo Scotland’s remotest parts.

The celebrations will continue with the multi-platinum selling Deacon Blue taking the stage, to be joined by Lloyd Cole and the Commotions, whose album Rattlesnakes is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year along with the 250th anniversary of the birth of Scotland's favourite bard, Robert Burns. The variety of musicians will combine in a display of the rich talent Scotland has inspired over the course of many years and will produce a truly memorable event in which to celebrate the country’s ever developing culture.
