Have a word with Malcolm Middleton this Thursday (31 July)

Feature by Dave Kerr | 29 Jul 2008

Malcolm Middleton is set to participate in a rare online web chat this Thursday, 31 Jul at 8pm. The event will be hosted by the Tennent's Mutual (previously reported here) where fans are given control over deciding the line up for a string of dates to take place at venues across Scotland throughout October. The votes are in and said line up is understood to be emerging in the next few weeks. No Springsteen or Dr. Dre so far, though - gutted.

In the meantime, you can also find a streaming video interview where the ex-Arab Strap man offers insight into how his old band posted their first creatively decorated demo to indie labels and built a career with - shock, horror - no MySpace! Middleton also waxes on the 'Malky - live' experience and why he doesn't read music magazines. This makes The Skinny very sad.

You can see the film and participate in the web chat right here.
