After a successful two month tour of the United States and Europe - save for a rough encounter with bogus coppers - The Twilight Sad are set to mark their return to home soil with a performance at Homecoming Live: The Final Fling on Saturday, 28th November.

The band will line up alongside Alex Gardener and Pearl and the Puppets as the latest additions to a bill which includes numerous touchstones from Scotland's rich contemporary musical lineage.

Taking place at the SECC and the adjacent Clyde Auditorium, the Twilight Sad join a bill including The View, Teenage Fanclub, Idlewild, King Creosote, The Vaselines, The Dykeenies, Twin Atlantic, Codeine Velvet Club and The Law in Hall 3.

Playing Clyde Auditorium are Deacon Blue, The Skids, Hue & Cry, Midge Ure, Lloyd Cole, The Bluebells, James Grant, Kevin McDermott and Tommy Reilly.

Finally, the SECC's Lomond Suite will host the folkier talents of Waterboys' frontman Mike Scott, Eddi Reader, Evelyn Glennie and Dougie MacLean. Tickets for all three shows can be booked here.

The Twilight Sad will later headline two intimate Christmas shows at Glasgow's Nice'n'Sleazy (15 Dec) and Edinburgh's Voodoo Rooms (16 Dec). Tickets for the Sleazy's gig are already sold out, but you can book for the Voodoo Rooms here.
