Coldplay Announce December UK Tour

In the run up to the release of their fourth album, Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends, Coldplay have announced a UK arena tour, due to commence in December and have named two Scottish dates.

The news marks a change in direction for Mr Gwyneth Paltrow and co, who have filled more column inches this year for scuffling with paparazzi in New York than any musical endeavours.

The dates are as follows:

1-2 Dec, Birmingham, NIA
5-6 Dec, Glasgow SECC
7 Dec, Sheffield Arena
10 Dec, Liverpool Echo Arena
11-12 Dec, Manchester MEN Arena
14-15 Dec, London O2

Tickets are available via the usual outlets from 9.30am on Friday, 30 May.

Viva La Vida... is released on 12 June and is largely produced by Brian Eno.
