Arctic Monkeys To hit Select Scottish Cinemas Tomorrow

Article by Jason Morton | 13 Oct 2008

After conquering the charts and capturing the hearts of music-lovers nationwide, the next stop for the Arctic Monkeys will be your local cinema.

For one night only, select cinemas in Scotland – the Cameo in Edinburgh, The Glasgow Film Theatre and Aberdeen’s Belmont – will screen Arctic Monkeys at the Apollo, the band’s latest foray into celluloid territory. The Warp Films (Dead Man’s Shoes, This is England) production, a documentation of the Monkeys' final gig of their 2007 world tour, will come in surround sound and High Definition, promising fans a unique concert experience.

The screenings will also be prefaced by an exclusive, filmed introduction from the band.

A DVD release of the film has been scheduled for 3 Nov.
