Twilight and True Blood nominated at People's Choice Awards

Vampire dramas Twilight and True Blood lead the nominations for the 2010 People's Choice Awards, with six and three nods respectively.

Twilight is up for best Movie, and Franchise, while its star Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner were nominated for On-screen Team and Movie Actor awards.

US TV show True Blood scored three nominations, including TV Obsession and Sci fi/Fantasy Show. Its star Anna Paquin also received a TV Drama Actress nod.

Another occult-themed show, The Vampire Diaries, received two nominations for New TV Drama and TV Sci fi/Fantasy Show.

Brad Pitt, Kiefer Sutherland, Alec Baldwin, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds, Anna Hathaway, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock were also nominated for acting awards.

The 2010 People's Choice Awards will be held on January 6 at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre. The event will be hosted by actress Queen Latifah.
