Tara Reid found nude poses liberating

Tara Reid found it liberating posing nude for Playboy magazine.

The blonde actress finally decided to shed her clothes for the adult publication because she is so in love with her boyfriend, Michael Axtmann. Tara graces the cover of the January/February 2010 double edition and is thrilled with the photos.

"Playboy had approached me in the past, but now just seemed like the right time to do it since I'm in a great place in my life and in love," Tara told People magazine. "I felt incredibly comfortable at the shoot. I think it helped a lot by choosing a brilliant female photographer."

Tara posed for Playboy in the gardens of a Los Angeles mansion in October. The 34-year-old star was relieved she didn’t have to strip off straight away and could get to know the crew as she posed.

She explained: "It also helped that the first day was for the cover, which is not nude! So I had a whole day shooting with this crew and that helped make me comfortable for the second day, which was a closed set."

Tara has denied she is set to marry her billionaire lover, despite sporting an impressive pink diamond band on her ring finger. However, the star has hinted the pair have discussed tying the knot in the future. "I got a beautiful ring from my boyfriend for my birthday last weekend. But we're not engaged ... yet!"
