Ryan O’Neal is “perfectly happy” with Farrah Fawcett’s will.

Farrah lost her battle with anal cancer in June, aged 62. Reports have suggested she left her 24-year-old son Redmond $4.5 million, but didn’t give anything to Ryan – who she had been in on on/off relationship with since 1982.

Ryan has now confirmed Farrah left the bulk of her estate to Redmond, and insists that was the right decision.

He said in a statement: “Farrah's and my relationship was based on a deep love and respect for one another and for our son Redmond. After discussing how her financial affairs would be handled in the event of her passing we agreed that our son Redmond would be the primary beneficiary of her estate.

These were Farrah's wishes and I am perfectly happy with them.

“I sincerely hope that everyone will remember and celebrate the legacy that Farrah left behind, and will now let her rest in peace.”

Actor Ryan has previously said he is financially secure as he invested much of his earnings in real estate.

In her will, Farrah stipulated her father James William Fawcett should receive $500,000, her nephew Greg Walls the same amount and her ex-lover Grey Lott $100,000.

The papers, updated on August 9 2007, also show Farrah wanted to spend her final days at home. She eventually passed away at California’s St. John's hospital.

According to RadarOnline, the will reads: “Settlor (Farrah) declares that she wishes to remain at home for as long as possible during any period of illness or incapacity and to die at home.”
