Russell Brand reveals crush on Sinead O'Connor

The comedian Russell Brand is "very fulfilled" by his relationship with Katy Perry, but still wonders what it would be like to bed the shaven-headed singer Sinead O'Connor.

"One always speculates what it would be like to be in a romance with dear Sinead," Russell mused. "That would be exciting wouldn't it? I have never met her and I don't think I'd approach her but I would definitely await an introduction."

Though he jokes about running away with the Irish star, Russell is smitten with Katy, who he has been dating since September.

"I've been really happy in the last couple of months," he said. "All I know is that I have met someone who I like and makes me happy. I am very much fulfilled."

But the former drug and sex addict doesn't credit Katy for his new clean-living lifestyle. He insists he was already changing his life when he met the quirky pop star.

Russell explained to Ireland's Sunday Independent newspaper: "Having met Katy she has certainly been a catalyst in changing my life but I have been changing my life for myself first and foremost, because it's a better way for me to be living at this time."
