Robbie Williams once threw £2,500 of his mother’s money out the window. The singer enjoyed hurling items out of his house when he was growing up, and sparked chaos by tossing handfuls of cash to strangers on the street below.

“My mum was very strict when I was growing up, but she didn’t really have to be that strict because I was a good boy. I didn’t get up to too much,” he told UK talk show Loose Women. “But once when I was three, and my mum was running a pub at the time, I had a habit of throwing things around. I took all the takings from the till, there was a month’s worth.

“It was a match day and Port Vale football club is just next to the pub. I took all the takings and threw about £2,500 out the window. I don’t know why!”

This wasn’t the only time Robbie upset his mother by throwing away her property and confesses he still has a desire to fling things out of windows.

He added: “Then a couple of weeks later I threw all my mum’s and sister’s pants out the window. I still throw things out the window now. I throw fruit, but I won’t go into it because it will make me sound weird.”

Robbie also went on to speak about his relationship with American actress Ayda Field, revealing the pair want to settle down soon. When asked about possible engagement plans, he coyly replied: “It could be on the cards.”

While the 35-year-old singer is happy to discuss tying the knot with Ayda, the couple are disagreeing on when to start a family. “We will have kids in a little while, yeah,” Robbie said. “I keep saying to Ayda, ‘Let’s wait’. She wants them now. But I think we have to have the time to get up at 12.30 in the afternoon and go to sleep at four in the morning. We need time to enjoy each other.”
