Rachel Hunter “giggling and flirting” with Pamela Anderson’s ex Eddie Irvine

Rachel Hunter has been seen canoodling with Pamela Anderson’s ex-boyfriend.

The 40-year-old model spent Tuesday evening “giggling and flirting” with multi-millionaire former Formula 1 champion Eddie Irvine. The pair were attending the star-studded Cinema Society after-party for Penelope Cruz’s new film Broken Embraces at New York’s Standard Hotel.

The 44-year-old sportsman – who has dated Pamela and an endless string of young models – was overheard teasing Rachel for being a “cougar”, while she replied, “I’ve got nothing on you!”

A cougar is a term for a woman in her 40s who pursues younger men.

Rachel has been single since last August, when her fiancé Jarret Stoll cancelled their wedding just seven weeks before the big day. Rachel reportedly discovered the 27-year-old ice hockey player had dumped her when she read an email he’d sent to their friends, telling them the ceremony was off.

Marion Cotillard, Fergie and Katharine McPhee also attended the party.
