Peter Andre "been celibate before"

Peter Andre is more attracted to women with “nice personalities” than he used to be.

The 36-year-old singer split from wife Katie Price earlier this year, and is now on the lookout for a new partner. He admits he used to be attracted to girls because of their physical appearance, but now claims he is more interested in what they are like on the inside.

He said: “As long as someone has a nice smile and nice hair, I really don’t care what their body is like. I couldn’t care less if someone is curvy or thin. A nice personality can make someone beautiful to me as well. As you get older, your tastes change.”

Peter is currently single and insists he hasn’t slept with anyone since splitting with Katie – with whom he raises three children - in May. He admits he is finding it hard to control his urges, but doesn’t feel ready to enter into a sexual relationship with anyone new yet.

“It’s not the longest I’ve been without sex,” he told New! magazine. “I’ve been celibate before in my life. It clears the mind! But I don’t really want to talk about sex, to be honest. It’ll make me frustrated! I know people think it’s dull that I’m all about my work and kids, but I honestly haven’t got time to think about sex.”

Peter does admit he notices when he sees a pretty girl, claiming he likes women who wear casual clothes in the daytime but make an effort to dress up, and look classy, in the evening. He is also not a fan of heavy make-up, insisting most females look best with just a light covering of cosmetics.

Despite being happy to talk about his love-life, Peter insists it will be a long time before he feels ready to settle down again. “It’s a case of once bitten, twice shy,” he admits. “It’ll take me a long, long time before I’m interested in anything like that. I just want to have fun.”
