Pete Wentz wishes his son spoke like Bruce Willis.

The Fall Out Boy rocker spent the weekend looking after 11-month-old Bronx Mowgli, his child with wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, and began musing about what Bronx is thinking. Although Bronx hasn’t started speaking yet, Pete hopes his voice is like action hero Bruce, famed for his husky drawl, when he is pondering things in his head.

Pete wrote on his Twitter page: “I wish my lil dude talked like bruce willis in his head. Maybe he does... (sic).”

Earlier in the day, the 30-year-old musician wrote about his fear of looking after his son alone. He likened the upcoming weekend to William Golding novel Lord Of The Flies, which sees boys turn into savages when they become marooned on an island.

He wrote: “Dad x lil dude weekend. Could end up lord of the flies. Stay tuned. Haven't burned the house down yet but that's all I'm promising (sic).”

He later let people know how tiring he found caring for Bronx single-handedly, writing: “I got a feeling these glow in the dark shoes are gonna come in handy when I'm stumbling towards bed (sic).”
