Madonna is set to meet her toy boy lover's parents for the first time.

The 51-year-old singer is planning to fly to Brazil to visit 23-year-old underwear model Jesus Luz's family, fuelling reports they are considering marriage. She is said to be looking forward to the trip, but is concerned about the reception she will receive as Jesus' mother Cristiane Regina da Silva is 15 years younger than her.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Madonna really does love and need Jesus - and she does not hold all the power in their relationship. He grew up with strong Christian beliefs. "He wants to marry and be taken seriously. She doesn't want to lose Jesus and so the visit to his parents is her way of saying she will make this relationship permanent. He wants her to make an honest man of him."

Madonna has already applied for a visa to travel to Rio de Janeiro, amid claims the trip could happen as early as tomorrow. It has been claimed Jesus has asked Madonna to meet Cristiane and dad Luis Heitor Pinto da Luz to prove she is committed to him.

Earlier this year, Madonna - whose marriage to film director Guy Ritchie ended in divorce last year - gave an interview saying she would rather be "run over by a train" than walk down the aisle again.

Her comments reportedly upset Jesus, who dreams of making their union more permanent and has even converted to Kabbalah, a mystical religion with links to Judaism, for her.
