Madonna has been “grinding with models” at parties to boost her boyfriend Jesus Luz’s career.

The 51-year-old superstar is so determined to see Jesus succeed as a model and DJ she is attending high-profile events to attract more publicity for the 22-year-old Brazilian hunk.

Jesus was booked to DJ at a star-studded party to celebrate the DVD release of Matt Tyrnauer’s documentary on Italian designer Valentino Garavani on Tuesday night. Madonna caused a stir at the bash, held at New York’s Standard Hotel, by taking to the dance floor and moving provocatively.

"She was grinding with a bunch of hot fashion guys while Luz spun," a source told the New York Post newspaper. "She's been taking a more active role in promoting him, so she stuck around for a bit and mingled before they left together."

It appears Madonna has been instrumental in developing Jesus’ career since the pair began dating last December.

Following his headline grabbing romance with the star, Jesus landed a lucrative contract with Dolce and Gabbana. Madonna’s close friend, designer Marc Jacobs wrote a “letter of support for Jesus’ work permit” to help him remain in the US.

It was also reported Madonna had splashed out £30,000 on DJ equipment and lessons for Jesus – who appeared in her music promo for single ‘Celebration’.

However, the singer’s representative has denied Madonna’s involvement in Jesus’ work plans, saying: “She is not at all involved in managing the career of Jesus Luz.”
