Lindsay Lohan reveals self-harm

Lindsay Lohan used to cut herself.

The actress' mother Dina Lohan admitted the young star was "hurting herself badly" during a phone conversation with Lindsay's father Michael Lohan. The audio clip - believed to have been recorded in 2008 - is the latest in a series of tapes Michael has released to Radar Online in what he claims is a desperate bid to get 23-year-old Lindsay to seek professional help. In it, the pair are heard arguing over who is responsible for their daughter's behaviour.

As Michael starts blaming himself, Dina interrupts saying: "Her cutting herself and hurting herself? Yeah, it's bad Michael, it's bad." Lindsay has been photographed with scars on her wrists over the past few years.

Later in the conversation, Michael and Dina discuss the possibility of Lindsay committing suicide.

Michael said: "If something happens." to which Dina responded: "I know that it's going to happen. I will feel it's all your fault, that's how I will feel. It's not about me."

Michael disagrees, snapping: "Well, I will feel like it's everyone else's fault!"

Other tapes Michael has released include a conversation where Dina reveals Lindsay was dating Heath Ledger when he died and a recording of Lindsay sobbing uncontrollably as she screams, "No one cares about me!".
