Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have teamed up with Asprey for a new gold and silver accessories line, which they have been working on for over a year. The collection is inspired by snakes, and is due to go on sale in London, New York, Beverly Hills, Tokyo and Dubai Asprey stores this week.

Asprey have confirmed the collaboration, but have not released further details.

The range starts at $525 for a silver baby spoon boasting a handle crafted to look like a serpent. Money raised by the line will be donated to Angelina’s Education Partnership for Children of Conflict charity, which raises money for children affected by conflict and natural disasters.

WWD quotes Angelina as saying in an email: “These are the children who most need a safe place to learn, a place to heal, a place to learn reconciliation, a place to build a better future and a place - to just be children. Yet the education for these children is often forgotten. Tens of millions of children and adolescents in conflict are not in school.”

Among the items in the range are silver baby presents and pendants and rings made of gold. There are also diamond and black diamond rings, bracelets, earrings and cufflinks.

Angelina has already debuted the range – she sported a snake bracelet she had designed to the London BAFTA Awards ceremony earlier this year.

The couple settled on the serpent theme as Angelina was given some jewellery with a snake on when she was pregnant with their daughter Shiloh, now three. Ever since, she has viewed the reptiles as her family’s protectors. The couple raise five other children together.
