Beth Ditto "loves Scrabble"

Beth Ditto loves Scrabble.

The Gossip frontwoman says playing the word board game helps her relax, adding she would rather spend the evening challenging her friends to a game than going to nightclubs.

"My idea of a good night out is a good night in," she revealed. "I really love Scrabble. And cooking for people. My speciality is vegetarian pot pie."

Beth Ditto is famed for her fuller figure. She has been vocal about the pressures put on women to look slim, and refuses to conform to society's expectations about what larger women should wear.

The 28-year-old singer often performs in skin-tight catsuits, and has inspired so many women with her fashion choices she now has designed her own clothing range.

Asked where she shops when she is at home in Oregon, America, she said: "Hilariously, Motherhood Maternity, in the mall! There's also Fat Fancy, a plus-size vintage store. When I was last there, I got two muumuus, which are loose dresses. They're good for the road and festivals."
